The Gospel of Mark


1:21 So they came to Capernaum. And he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and taught. 22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. 23 At that very time a man was possessed with an unclean spirit in their synagogue. He cried out, 24 “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Did you come to destroy us? I know who thou art, the Holy One of God. 25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.


1:29 As soon as they came out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew with James and John. 30 Simon's mother-in-law lay feverish. They told him about her right away. 31 Jesus approached her, took her by the hand, and helped her to her feet. The fever left her and she served them.


1:40 And there came a leper unto him, and besought him, saying, Behold, thou canst make me clean. he immediately disappeared and was cleansed.


2:1 When he entered the synagogue again, there was a man with a paralyzed hand. 5 ... he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He fired it. And his hand healed.


4:35 And it came to pass in the evening, that at even he spake unto them, saying, Let us go over to the other side. He was accompanied by other boats. 37 And there arose a great tempest, and the waves beat into the boat, so that the boat was now full. 38 But Jesus slept on a pillow in the back of the boat. They awoke him, and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?"


5:25 There was a woman who suffered from blood for twelve years. 26 She suffered much from many doctors, she missed all her property, but it didn't do her any good, and her condition kept getting worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came in the crowd from behind and touched his robe, 28 for she said, "If I touch his robe as soon as I can, I will be healed." your suffering.


5:21 And when Jesus was passed over again by boat unto the other side, a great multitude gathered round about him by the sea. 22 And there came unto him one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus. As soon as he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. 23 He pleaded with him, “My daughter is dying. Come, lay your hands on her, that she may heal and live. ”40 ... he took with him the father and mother of the child, and those who were with him, and entered the room where the child lay. 41 He took the child's hand and said to him, "Talitha kum!" Which means, "Girl, I say to you, arise." She was twelve years old. Then everyone was amazed.


6:35 And when the days were now far off, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and it is yet many hours. 36 Dissolve the people, that they may go out into the villages and villages, and buy some food. 37 And he said to them, "You give them something to eat." 38 But he asked them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see. ”When they found out, they said,“ Five loaves and two fish. ”39 He commanded them to set them all in groups on the green grass. 40 They sat down in groups of a hundred and fifty. 41 And he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looked up to heaven, and blessed them, and brake the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to give unto men. He also divided the two fishes to all. 42 They all ate and were satisfied. 43 And they took up twelve full baskets of broken pieces of bread and fish. 44 And they that did eat of the loaves were five thousand men.
